Training Programs

Individualized Wellness/Fitness Training Program (we call it Individualized since we do much more than Personal Training)    FitTec has been conditioning individuals for over 25 years using  the safest, most effective practices. Programming starts with a health & fitness evaluation ( see below ), thereafter clients meet 2 times a week for individualized training sessions. Sessions include flexibility, strength, balance, core, and recovery components lasting approximately 60-70 minutes with the trainer, thereafter clients perform 20 to 30 minutes of cardiovascular conditioning on aerobic machines. Reevaluations are performed after 12 to 16 weeks of conditioning to assess body composition and fitness improvements, along with determining if new fitness strategies are needed. Nutrition mentoring programs can be designed for clients who are being personally trained at no added cost. Why is FitTec’s personal training rates slow low? Typical personal training rates in the Metro West and Boston areas run between $60 to $100 a session. The reason for such low rates is that FitTec wants clients not to be burden by cost  The end result  is continued participation in training. FitTec is able to survive as a business by having training sessions overlap. At no time does someone feel that they aren’t being attended to. Totally private sessions at FitTec are $65 a session. There is no fitness difference between the above program and the private one,  that’s why mostly everyone does the above.


Partner Training Program      This is a lower cost way of receiving personal training. Its offered to 2 people at a time who want to exercise, learn, and be motivated together. There is limited space for this training program and clients must be of the same level of fitness.


Youth Training Program     It was once thought that youth strength training was harmful. Research has shown this to be the farthest from the truth. Besides preventing injuries and improving performance in sports youth conditioning instills positive habits that may last a lifetime. The goal of FitTec’s youth conditioning program is to improve fitness, body composition, and/or sports performance through a personal, cost affective strategy. This program has individuals working under the supervision of a trainer in a semi-group environment 2 times a week.


Senior Training Program     Strength training older adults has become widely accepted throughout the medical community as being a way to build bone mass, stimulate metabolism, strengthen muscle, and increase vitality. The goal of FitTec’s seniors strength training program is to increase the quality of life of individuals 60 years and above through a personal, cost affective strategy. This program has individuals working under the supervision of a trainer 2 times a week. The core of the program are therapeutic and basic strength training exercises with an emphasis on foundation and balance components.

MOVING FORWARD NEW CLIENTS PAY $175 A MONTH WHICH INCLUDES 2 TRAINING SESSIONS A WEEK, ALL ON-LINE ZOOM CLASSES, AND ALL COACHING SERVICES. THIS PRICE ALSO INCLUDES DISCOUNTED BODY WORK.
